Zur Datierung: Der in den Schlußversen erwähnte Einzug des Herzogs von Bari fand im Januar 1475 statt; Herzog Gaelazzo Maria Sforza wurde am 26.XII.1476 ermordet; eine Drucklegung der Briefe nach seinem Tode kommt wegen des Zwecks, den sie verfolgen (s. o.), nicht in Frage.
