Anm. Das dem GW-Eintrag zugrundeliegende Ex. befand sich 1903 im Besitz von Leo Olschki (Florenz), der es vom Antiquariat J. Halle (München) erworben hatte. Vermutlich ist es identisch mit einem am 28.VII.1924 bei Sotheby’s (London) versteigerten Ex. (Catalogue of a Valuable Collection of Early Works Chiefly on Medicine, Astronomy, Geography and the Discovery of America. The Property of a Well-known Collector […]) Nr 60A: “Veterum Medicorum Opuscula”. Zum Kolophon bemerkt der Katalog: “The date appears to have been tampered with and is certainly wrong. The types used are nos. 34 and 36 (Proctor and Haebler) of the De Gregoriis firm, which were in use in 1499 and 1500. Below the date is written in pencil ‘1502, 21 Junii,’ which may be correct, the ‘Die. iiii’ being plainly a pen addition.”.
